This interesting succulent goes by many names: burro tail, lamb tail and donkey tail. Bottom line, it usually has ‘tail’ in it for obvious reasons. It’s really a cool succulent. Apparently it was a really popular plant in the 70’s. It grabs your attention when you see it. Not only is its texture unusual but it often has a lime-green hue to it that is not common for most plants.
Recently I used it in a large clamshell planting that I posted about. I also did another one that you’ll see below.
I added an image I found that shows it in a hanging arrangement as well. They do very well as indoor plants which is not typical of all succulents.
So, if you want to own a nice tail, get one of these guys:)
